The Dragon Trail (龍脊)

For days, it's been nothing but clouds, mist, fog, rain, sleet and cold weather and more clouds, mist, fog and rain. How wonderful it felt that for a few hours, the sun finally agreed to pay us a little visit. But what's makes it even more delightful is that he brought along a long lost friend, a clear blue sky. I lost no time.

I took the famous Dragon Trail.

Unlike on previous occasions, I did not start from Cape Colinson nor at Siu Sai Wan .

I started off at To Dei Wan on the east side of Shek O and trek back west

Shek O and Big Wave Bay are two of the most beautiful beaches in Hong Kong.

The water was clear.

There were not many clouds on this side of the peninusula

Looking back at Red Hill Peninsula and Stanley

But some clouds were forming

The Golf Club

There was a good wind. Some knew how to take advantage of it.

There was an event on the Island Trail. So there were rather more people than usual on the path.

a remote control plane aficiado making some final adjustment before taking it for a spin in the sky.

The clear weather did not last: a mist already forming over Big Wave Bay

Taking to the sky above the trek competitors.

One of those brave souls packing it in after he's had his fill parachuting in the sky

Some leaves I caught on the way back

Such magical changes of color on a single leaf!

Like this little creeper, I hug rather close to ground.
