Munich. 10: the Gardens & Market (慕尼黑. 10: 花園及街市)




This is one of the oldest buildings in Munich. It's been around since 1264!



They have also retained the old-fashioned signboards for some of its restaurants and pubs




Some of the restaurants placed their tables and seats outside

One of the lions outside of the Residenz with a shield showing the Holy Virgin. For some reasons, a custom had developed: all passers-by think that they will have good luck if they were to touch the mouth of the lion at the bottom oft he shield

To one side of the garden is a theatre museum


At the centre of the garden is the  Hofgartentemple or Temple of Diana, designed in 1615 by Heinrich Schön the Elder.
