How could my new lens have performed so badly? That's what bothered me last night. What did I get wrong?
When I cast my eyes at the light compensation button, all became clear.
Must try it out again today.
Ah ...much better already.
The leaves have recovered their natural color
and the little begonias too.
The purplish red regains it color
and the browns too.
the light has returned.
The yellow seems still a little softer than usual.
the bear's paw recovers it waxy sheen.
and the orange regains it hue
.
.
the background is hazier
The outlines seem less stark.
But the light has come back.
What about details of the leaves?
The color saturation looks OK.
But everything seems softer.
The white is less white.
The images still retain a certain sharpness.
But it's certainly less bright
Perhaps just right if one wishes to emphasize delicate colors
the needles seem to have become less prickly.
But these cactus flowers looks just fine
as also this huge inverted bell.
Maybe I should experiment again with needles?
sturdier to lighter?
and maybe I should see how it treats the more familiar flowers..

They seem to want fixed maximum working hours.with overtime for extra work. But for amateur photographers, fixed hours are a joke.
