Colors of Summer (夏日的顏色)

Summer is not just insufferable heat.

It can mean colors

and forms whether together or isolated. 

It can mean various shades of green.

and all kinds of twists and curls

It can mean color against a blue sky

or light through a canopy

or other kind of shelter

It can mean a time to bloom

under the shelter of other leaves

whether red or yellow

It can mean opening out

whether as leaves or as flowers

It can mean having fun together

or having it alone.

White is also a color too.

It doesn't have to be pure white.

Bits of non-white become even more conspicuous.

The color can be quite concentrated.

and monochrome

Some prefer to distinguish themselves by their shape

whilst others Some are deliberately inviting.

But others can be less so

Some look even a bit human

Others just concentrate on their core

Some like layering.

Others prefer simplicity.

Some are really elaborate.

Some prefers it rigid and straight. 

but can do so separately

 
whilst others prefer to fan out their straight but more delicate needles.

But whatever form they take, they may be little more than reflections of an invisible order
