Summer is come.
But it also means sudden squalls, claps of thunder and lightning.
No wonder some are left dessicated by the heat after the ravages by such storms.
Whenever the rains come, the snails emerge from their hideout
That means once the rain stops, it's time for my camera to click.
Otherwise, my skills will sag, like this rope
The feel of summer upon this wall
oozes as slowly and as subtly from this humble flower on the edges of the leaf below
upon this construction site wall
the rest of this tiny insect upon a leaf
or these leaves in its siesta.
But summer is not just a time for growth.
If the old won't go, there'd be no space for the new.
which busily put in an appearance behind an iron mesh
or seek their place in the sun.
But withered leaves are not the only ones which have to go.
Wild flowers know too well they have no time to lose.
So they appear in numbers.
But others are not in such a hurry.
They know when during the day to bloom.
Some know that they can take their time
Some adore the sun.
with complete abandon. Of course, they came from South America!
